Case Example of Installation in a Heat Treatment Plant
- Objective
- To propose an idea of energy-saving environmental improvement in a "resin molding plant" under the harsh environment during summer.
- Background
-
- Continuous occurrence of severely hot days with a maximum exterior temperature of "35 degrees" or higher during summer.
- Within the plant, highly severe condition of "7 to 8 degrees" higher than the exterior temperature are observed. (In summer: about 43 degrees)
- There are existing installations in the working area that produce partial airflow by mobile compact fan and intend to reduce the sensible temperature only by the rapid airflow, but they do not work effectively.
- As mentioned above, "super energy-saving" environmental improvement installations which can introduce the fresh open air and [high-performance] exclusive induced draft fan for airflow production are highly expected.
- Our idea
-
- Environment-friendly Plan "Energy saving"
- Air and water application plan "Natural energy (heat of vaporization)"
- To reduce the temperature in the hot working area of large space lower than that of the exterior air, the exclusive air-conditioning installations will be needed. These installations will cost a considerable amount of money and are not practical. They will also need a large amount of electricity. (Thus mass emission of CO2 is predicted.)
- In order to produce the airflow by duct-less design, we applicate high-efficient induced draft SF Fan (aluminum-founded) with maximum induction rate "20 times" and the sensible temperature will be reduced by the airflow.
